  • Academic degree (Bachelor of Science, Master of Science is beneficial) in a technical field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within the automotive industry with direct contact with car manufacturers
  • Practical experience in electronics (oscilloscope, soldering, prototype construction)
  • Experience in APQP
  • Design and test knowledge regarding EMC as well as embedded software and quality assurance processes
  • Knowledge of ISO26262, knowledge of Automotive Spice is beneficial
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (TS 16949, QS-9000, ISO9001) GD & T, QFD, DFM, DFA, DVP & R, DOE, DFME / PFMEA, control plans and advanced problem-solving methods is beneficial
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Proactive way of working with attention to detail and a high degree of initiative
  • Willingness to travel about 30% of the working time


In this role, one of your main tasks are:

  • Co-operation with the major German car manufacturers and Tier-One suppliers before an offer is made and during the development phase of new projects to understand the electrical interfaces and specification requirements
  • Collaborate with electronics hardware and software engineers to ensure timely completion of projects that also meet customer requirements and budget constraints
  • Ensuring timely presentation of a robust and economical product on the market
  • Documentation of hardware and software requirements, validation plans, FMEA, EMC, EOL tests
